Elisabeth works in red earthenware clay producing hand thrown pottery mugs, plates, bowls, teapots etc. The work is fired to 1100deg.C and decorated with layers of coloured glaze, hand painted designs are applied in hot wax between the glazes or scratched out to reveal the red clay beneath. The colours are soft blues and browns. Elisabeth can be seen showing her ceramics and demonstrating with a treadle potters wheel at craft fairs and agricultural shows.
