Working from his workshop in the hamlet of Low Easby, North Yorkshire, Rob Pepper makes mandolins using traditional handcraft skills, blended with a combination of both traditional and exotic timbers
His mandolins are gaining an excellent reputation for their acoustic and tonal properties. Particular attention is given to grain matching, along with detailed execution of wood thicknesses, bracing and scalloping, which when combined with the Danish oil finish, results in an instrument which has beauty, quality and playability
Customers are welcome to contact Rob to discuss their individual requirements.
